The Women of the Light
began in 2002 with a simple direction from
Jesus to Marie Smith, Founder and Director, “Gather
women to worship and pray”.
Monthly meetings started in Elkins, WV. in July
of 2002 and are on going in now a varity of locations.
Characteristic of each meeting is:
- The
tangible Presence of the Lord
- The
heartfelt worship for the King
- The
Spirit lead intercessory prayer
- The
bond of unity among the women
- The
flow of the gifts of the Holy Spirit
There
is a state, national, and international vision
and dream to see every woman’s life touched
and changed by the loving Presence of the Father,
the power of Jesus, and the leading of the Holy
Spirit.
